The Climb For Youth fundraising event is organised by the Graeme Dingle Foundation Waikato.
“The Graeme Dingle Foundation is a leading Child and Youth Development Charity that is empowering young people to succeed and overcome life’s obstacles. The Graeme Dingle Foundation works with New Zealand’s tamariki and rangatahi at different life stages, working directly with schools and communities through our programmes.”
Climb For Youth took place at Pukemokemoke Bush Reserve on Saturday 7 March 2026, from 8am to noon. It involved teams of 3 (“Climbers”) to overcome the Pukemokemoke Summit 3km Loop Track as many times as they could in four hours. Climbers chose their own challenge and pledged the number of return trips to the summit and the amount to fundraise.
